Patent Andorra
Andorran law is inspired by the European Patent Convention and its particularities.
a- There is no substantive examination.
b- Applications are published 18 months following their date of deposit or their priority date, if any.
c- The presentation languages are Catalan, Spanish, English and French.
If the presentation language is not Catalan, a simple translation into Catalan must be attached, at least for the claims.d- In order to act before the Patent Office, Sapim needs a signed authorization from the owner.
e- In case the owner of the Patent is not the inventor, it is necessary to provide a statement detailing how the right to ownership has been acquired.
